The production tells the backstage of ‘Glee’ and reveals the harsh reality of the phenomenon that has marked pop culture

The docuseries explores the cast members’ lives on and off set through never-before-seen interviews that shed light on the demands of being part of a hit TV show and the dramas faced behind the scenes.

Among those interviewed are relatives and friends of the cast; professionals who have worked on set or related to the production, such as set designers, hair stylists, stylists and publicists; and entertainment industry journalists covering the Glee phenomenon.

Interviews with people close to the deceased Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson, in the series) dealt with the actor’s international rise and his anguish, which ended his died of an overdose at the age of 31at a hotel in British Columbia, Canada.

People who collaborated on set and stood by Marco Salling (Puck) commented on his relationship with work and the shock caused by the discovery of child pornography in his possession, which led him to suicide at age 35.

Giorgio Rivera pays a personal and intimate tribute to his daughter, Naja Rivera, as she recalls her life as a young actress and her rise to fame, reliving memories of her childhood, when Naya was already acting, and her cheerleading stage. The Glee star died in a mysterious and frightening way by accidental drowning in a lake in California, United States.

The ID channel will broadcast one episode a week, always on Fridays, at 20:30.
