The trailer for the series “Save the only son” by Nikolai Khomeriki from the KION Originals line has been released. The show tells about the surgeon Lika Bulatova, who learned that her son was captured by terrorists. The main roles were played by Anna Ardova, Alexei Serebryakov, Nino Ninidze, Dmitry Chebotarev and Valery Stepanov. The premiere will take place exclusively in the KION online cinema.

Doctor Lika Bulatova (Anna Ardova) learns that her son Vasily (Valery Stepanov) has gone missing while on holiday in Greece. FSB investigators suspect that Vasily has joined Syrian militants. Lika is sure that her son was kidnapped. The heroine finds and asks for help the biological father of Vasily Pavel (Alexey Serebryakov). Pavel is also a doctor, but his career and personal life did not work out, and he has problems with the law.

Together they go to a foreign country, where they conduct dangerous searches, end up in a war zone, and every day they risk death, finding a new meaning in life. They have one goal – to save their only son, to get him out of captivity alive. While Lika is looking for Vasily, he remains a prisoner in a mountain village. The militants confused him with another young man – a military specialist, and abducted him while relaxing at a resort. They were ready to kill him, but Vasily, a veterinarian by profession, saw the sick falcon Bars – the favorite toy of the head of the terrorists – and offered to cure the bird, thereby saving his life.

The director of the series, Nikolai Khomeriki, who is used to exploring the structure of the modern Russian family, pays great attention not only to the dangerous journey and rescue from captivity, but to the story of Lika’s personal life, the power of motherly love and female solidarity.
