“Amazing”: Edwi Plenelli’s lawyer (Mediapart) reacts to Maven’s interview in the Daily

The day after Maïwenn’s Quotidien interview, Mediapart founder Edwy Plenel’s lawyer reacts. At the request of our colleagues PureMediaMaitre Pierre-Emmanuel Blard, counsel for Eddy Plennel, confirms that the investigation is well underway, denying that Maven would not have accepted the complaint.

guest of the show dailyOn Wednesday, May 10, Maven admitted to assaulting journalist Eddy Plenell. The latter filed a complaint against the actor, screenwriter and director in March over the events that took place at the end of February.

“According to the complaint filed on March 7 and consulted by AFP, a journalist from the investigative site explained that on February 22 he dined with the lawyer at a restaurant. “The woman sitting alone at the table (…) got up and in a very short time grabbed her hair, threw her head back and smeared her face,” the letter reads. On the Daily set, Maven spoke for the first time on the subject: “I did not receive a complaint; I heard about it in the press.“
