Fuvest 2024: the deadline for requesting exemption from the fee will start this Monday (15th)

Fuvest opens this Monday (15th) the deadline for requests for exemption from the registration fee in the entrance exam 2024. The deadline goes until July 14th and requests must be made on the Fuvest website.

The result of who was or was not contemplated will be announced on August 3 and the deadline for challenging the decision, by sending new documents, will be between August 7 and 11.

Who is entitled to exemption from Fuvest

In order to enrol, the candidate must have compulsorily attended the entire Scientific High School in a public school. Furthermore, it is necessary that, at the time of the request, the student chooses one of the three benefits granted by the Fuvest Board of Trustees, and inserts himself in the chosen modality. The three modal options are as follows:

1) For the tuition fee waiver: it is necessary to have a monthly gross individual or family income per individual of a maximum of R $ 1,818.00 or to demonstrate unemployment;

2) For a 50% reduction in the tuition fee: it is necessary to demonstrate a gross monthly or family income per individual between R$ 1,818.01 and R$ 3,636.00;

3) To obtain a 50% reduction in the tuition fee: it is necessary to demonstrate an individual or household gross monthly income per individual of a maximum of R $ 2,424.00 or to demonstrate unemployment (of the candidate).

New to the 2024 entrance exam is the anticipation of the realization of the second phase of the entrance exam for the month of December. The full exam schedule is as follows:

Communication of the outcome of the exemption and reduction of the registration fee: August 3rd

Deadline for lodging an appeal against the outcome of the reduction of the registration fee: from 7th August to 11th August

Reanalysis of requests for exemption and reduction of registration fee: until 16 August

Registration for FUVEST 2024: from 17 August to 6 October

First stage: November 19th

Second level: 17 and 18 December

Specific skill tests: from 3 to 6 January 2024
