Marvel has finally announced when the second season of Loki lands on Disney+, the Disney stream. According to a statement, released on the studio’s official Twitter account, the series will officially return on October 6 this year.
Launched in 2021, Loki owns the title of the most watched Marvel series on Disney+. Created by Michael Waldron, the production features Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief in an alternate adventure with so-called variants, including a female version of the character, played by Sophia Di Martino.
But the news didn’t stop there, the Disney-led studio also revealed the launch day of echospin-off series of Archer Falcon: November 29, 2023, just 20 days after the premiere of The wonders (captain marvel 2) at Cinema.
echo (or Echo) revolves around the character Maya Lopez, played by Alaqua Cox in the series with Jeremy Renner. The character is the love interest of Matt Murdock (Daredevil), but she was created – and always manipulated – by the King of Crime, the hero’s enemy. The production will likely focus on Echo’s backstory, but should also add a twist to the ending Archer Falcon.
In addition to Cox, the cast of the spin-off series includes Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Graham Greene, Zahn McClarnon, Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox.
And speaking of Marvel premieres on Disney+, it’s worth mentioning Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania moreover, it already has a date to land in streaming. According to the platform, the sequel arrives on May 17 (Wed/Today).
Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released in theaters on February 15. The film is the third in the trilogy Ant man.
