Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday 19 May 2023 [SPOILERS]

Friday, May 19, 2023 in such a big sun…

Chloe and Evan cry

It’s still dark when Evan confronts Chloe about her betrayal. Although embarrassed, she confirms she is having an affair with Mark Moore and then reveals that she is the author of the Midi Libre legal chronicles. Tearfully, the clerk tells her how worried she is and confirms that it wasn’t all meant to be. An angry Evan then tries to find out if he is in love with the journalist. Unable to answer, Chloe burst into tears. Evan then takes her things, says he hates her, and then leaves the apartment.

After wandering the streets all night, Evan arrives at Mark Moore’s early in the morning. Enraged, he grabs her by the collar and threatens to physically attack her if she comes near Chloe again.

Meanwhile, Robin gets up and sees her mother alone in the living room, busy. Knowing full well that her parents have taken the lead again, the teenager pushes Chloe to tell her what’s really going on. The latter begins to cry and then admits to his son that he did something he should never have done. Quickly, Robin realizes that her mother has lied to her father. Crying, Chloe swears she still loves Evan and apologizes to Robin.

To make matters worse, Chloe calls Cecil soon after to warn her that she won’t be coming to work.

At the hospital, Lorin brings coffee to Dr. Cresson and takes the opportunity to hear from him. The latter tells him that his wife has been cheating on him with a Midi Libre journalist for several weeks. During the conversation, he also mentions that Mark and Chloe wrote the court chronicles together. Listening to him, Lauryn says she’s there for him. He is grateful, thanks him.

In high school, Robin confides in Louis about her mother’s betrayal. When Maury’s son asks if he has any idea who his girlfriend is, Robin says he doesn’t know.

Meanwhile, Chloe calls Mark to tell him about the woman who revealed their affair to Evan. After confirming that he has no one else in his life, he specifies that she is the only woman he has met since Miriam’s death. While he wonders what she’s up to, Chloe, who doesn’t know where she is anymore, replies that she needs some time to think.

In the evening, Lorin tells her father that there is water in the gas in the Cresson couple. And as much as he’s going to take advantage of the situation to get Evan to join forces with Francois for the clinic project…

Bilal and Ulises start a new painting adventure

Ulises and Bilal are about to leave the room with huge backpacks. As Eliza is surprised, the two men claim that they are going to hike to Larzac for a few days. They then go to the workshop, where Alix has prepared all the materials they will need to create fake paintings. Bilal and Ulises start working on colors without waiting.

Helen, on the other hand, has always been against Christian and notices with some irritation that Alix spares no effort to please the art dealer. Alix, who is beginning to find the situation painful, reminds him once again that they have no choice. According to him, it is not about taking revenge on Christian, but about saving their skins.

Shortly after, Hélène joined Victor at Les Sauvages. A chance to talk to him about working with Alix. Because it’s not easy with him, Elena doesn’t see it lasting that long. When Victor asks if she’s going to leave the gallery, Helen replies that she thinks she has a better idea.

He then calls Christian as if he wants to bury Luke. Even though he didn’t expect it, he agrees and makes a weekly coffee date.

A few steps away, Victor tells Davia that he feels lonely sometimes. Indeed, Claire’s father seems to have been on a chain of sentimental failures lately. To reassure her, Davia says that she is sure that she will meet a good person.

In the workshop, Bilal shows Ulises the paint he just created. The result is not bad, but there are still some corrections.
