The film arrives in June on Netflix.
After enjoying great success on Netflix, Resgate will get a long-awaited following from fans. With the first date set for June 16, the second film picks up from the final point of the original production, showing the life of the protagonist who, after surviving the events of the first feature, must undertake another deadly mission: the rescue of the family of a ruthless criminal.
The long-running adaptation is a comic book version by Ande Parks, based on a storyline by the author himself with Joe Russo and Anthony Russo. Additionally, Extraction 2 is executive produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Chris Hemsworth, Patrick Newall and Sam Hargrave.
With a screenplay by Joe Russo, Chris Hemsworth returns as Tyler and the new film promises to be as successful as the first.
