Shortly after its release it became one of the most popular shows on Netflix and because of this, the company decided to bring the competition to real life with the reality show ‘The Squid Game: The Challenge’.
This was announced in June 2022 through a promotional video where people from all over the world were invited to participate for a chance to win $4.56 million, which is supposed to be the largest prize money in television history
Although the lives of the 456 contestants will not be at risk in this game, it will have extreme challenges, which promise to keep the viewers’ nerves at their highest.
New Netflix reality show ‘The Squid Game: The Challenge’ to premiere in late 2023
Almost a year after the call for the program began, the streaming service has confirmed that the series will have 10 episodes and you will be able to enjoy it this November 2023.
Unfortunately, the exact release day is unknown and it is assumed that the recordings are already finished, so all that remains is the processing of the material.
Some contestant names have already been announced on the IMDb page, but there’s still no official trailer showing the contestants or any taste of the trials they’ll face.
It’s important to remember that before Netflix, popular YouTuber Mr.Beast made his own version of ‘The Squid Game’, which was seen by millions of people around the world, so with this first look, audiences expect the version continues to become streaming more impressive.
