This Sunday, May 21st, NCIS: Los Angeles bowed out after 14 years of good and dedicated service. What if fans of the detective series got used to saying goodbye to Kellen (Chris O’Donnell), Sam (LL Cool J), Kensi (Daniela Rua), Dick (Eric Christian Olsen), Hattie (Linda). Hunt) and other team agents, apparently CBS, the channel that broadcasts the series in the United States, decided otherwise.
LL Cool J is definitely reprising his role as Sam in a recurring role on Season 3 of NCIS: Hawaii. His first appearance was in the Season 2 finale of the Vanessa Lachey-led crime drama, which aired last night on CBS.
In episode 22, titled “Air is dying,” while Jane Tennant and Kate Whistler (Tori Anderson) are victims of an attack in Venezuela, they receive unexpected help from Sam, who has traveled from Morocco to where we left off in the finale of NCIS: Los Angeles.
And it won’t be the last time viewers see LL Cool J on NCIS: Hawaii, as he’s expected to return to the detective series to help the agents of Pearl Harbor.
“Everyone at NCIS: Hawaii has been a huge fan of LL Cool J for years, and we couldn’t be more excited and honored to be able to add his spectacular talent to our ohana (“family” in Hawaiian, editor’s note) for season three. .Executive producers Matt Bosak, Ian Nash and Christopher Silber said in a press release.
Vanessa Lachey, star of NCIS: Hawaii, also commented on the comedian’s arrival in the series: “One of the greatest things about the series is NCIS: Hawaii’s ability to tie the franchise together. We had a lot of fun spreading Aloha with the NCIS and NCIS: LA triple crossover.
“Today we have the amazing opportunity to bring Sam Hanna to Hawaii to help us solve a few things and maybe have a few laughs at the same time. Welcome to Ohana, Todd! Together!“
