Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Wednesday May 24, 2023 Episode Summary [SPOILERS]

Evan cheats on his wife

At Cresson’s, Chloe thanks Evan for his support the day before. Although she still hasn’t made up her mind about their marriage, Chloe still wants to tell him that she doesn’t want to lose him. In turn, Evan is angry with her, but does not want to highlight their 20 years together. So he agrees to give their story a second chance. After promising him she’ll do anything to make it work, Chloe tells him how much she loves him.

Chloe then finds Aurel. To save the family, the clerk will give up the mark. Having never felt more alive than in the journalist’s arms, Chloe knows she’ll have to hang on to keep from diving back down.

Meanwhile, prosecutor Bernier discovered that an anonymous e-mail had been sent from a hospital in Montpellier. Alerted by Cecil, Chloe calls Evan, then accuses him of revenge. He may tell her that he didn’t do anything, but she doesn’t believe him. Crying, she asks him not to wait for her tonight, or any other nights.

After packing, Chloe calls Mark to tell him what happened. Then the latter invites him to come to his place, but he prefers to go to the hotel, because the situation is already quite difficult. Besides, he needs to be alone.

At the hospital, Evan tells Lorin that his wife left him. And as much as it should be said that the doctor is sure that he hastened to join his lover. Lorin offers him a drink to cheer him up. After hesitation, Evan ends up kissing her and they go to the room where they share an intimate moment.

Jules and Kira kiss

In the morning, Jules calls Kira and lies that today is her late mother’s birthday. As she claims she has no family or close friends to talk to, the teenager offers to meet her after school.

Louis, on the other hand, wants to gather his friends at the end of the day to cheer on Robin. When he asks Kira to join them, the latter pretends to go shopping with Claire. Kira later admits to Thais that Jules should join her at the end of class. And if she didn’t tell Louis the truth, it’s to avoid them getting into each other’s heads. Faced with her friend’s insinuations, Kira claims that there is no ambiguity between her and Jules.

Meanwhile, Beatrice and Cathy walk the streets of Montpellier. Tired after she stopped her diabetes treatment, Beatrice is forced to sit down for a few moments to rest. Convinced that her body is withdrawing from insulin, she plans to take other dietary supplements to help her recover.

In the afternoon, Tice, Louis and Robin decide to go rollerblading. Meanwhile, Kira joins Jules to cheer him on. The latter invites her up to her house to continue talking, but Kira reminds her that she has a boyfriend. Only, Jules is determined and manages to convince them that something special is happening between them before they kiss. Letting go, Kira just finishes the kiss as her phone starts ringing. After Tyce insists on joining them, Kira leaves.
