Warner Bros. released this Thursday (25th) another trailer of Barbie, an upcoming romantic comedy based on the Mattel toy line. Though the film’s story has been kept under wraps for a long time, the new excerpt features never-before-seen footage, with the plot finally being revealed (at least in more detail).
Scenes show Barbie abandoning her barbieland, his homeland, and embark on an adventure in the real world. Ken, of course, ends up accompanying the romantic couple and, together, they’ll face prison, among other hardships of the modern world.

Directed by Greta Gerwig, the live-action film features a strong cast, ranging from Margot Robbie, best known for her role as Harley Quinn in the franchise. Suicide squad — will give life to the original doll — also Dua Lipa, the singer will make the Barbie Siren version. Ryan Gosling will play Ken, the already known boyfriend.
In addition to them, other famous stars will be present in the film, such as Will Ferrell and Connor Swindells. Emma Mickey, Sharon Rooney and Nicola Coughlan will play other “versions” of the Barbie doll, while Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans, Simu Liu and Ncuti Gatwa will bring to life other facets of Ken.
Barbie, which won its first trailer in 2022 and its second in early April this year, will be released in theaters on July 20. The feature also received a few posters featuring puppet versions of each actor. Look here!
