Hortense will fall back into her old demons

Hortense announces to Clotilda and Emmanuel that she has decided to become a professor at the institute. Indeed, this job allows him to combine his two passions: cooking and helping each other. However, Teissier informs him that he must come in the top three of his class in his exams to get the job.

He then joins his family at a cafe to tell them of his decision. His father, who is about to leave, is completely against it. Vicki supports her sister and suggests that her parents support her instead of constantly pressuring her.

In the infirmary, Eugene promises his daughter that her father will finally calm down. Vicki takes Hortense by the hand and encourages her in her lessons. After his elder leaves, Eugene takes the opportunity to have a little chat with his younger self. He especially points out that Hortense suddenly refused the second post in the starship due to jealousy between them. Vicki claims that she has changed and now really wants her sister to be happy. He blames their parents, whom he holds responsible for the rivalry that arose between him and Hortense at the time.

In the studio, Hortense is cooking with Ambre and Deva. He confides in them his sadness over the argument with his father and also his stress over the exams. The girls calm him down, then leave him alone to get supplies from the commissary. Hortense cracks and rushes to the sweets they have prepared, devouring them one after another.

In her freshman year, where she decides to work on a spring theme, Hortense takes it upon herself because she feels sick. He doesn’t show the students anything, but gives them permission to create the dish. Thus, he takes refuge in the dressing room. While Deva and David meet there to discuss how to teach her, Hortense is feeling worse and worse. Wanting to get up, he feels weak and falls to the ground. Deva and David come to help him.

Hortense wakes up in an infirmary and downplays what happened to her. Vicki also believes that her fatigue is due to an excess of emotions. On her mother’s advice, Hortense still goes to boarding school for a vacation while she waits for the test results. Although Eugene already imagines that his eldest daughter is suffering from a serious illness, Vicki puts everything into perspective.

A little later, Eugene goes to his room to see Hortense. Her test results are not good, leading her to suspect that she may have developed an eating disorder again. Hortense promises to refuse him. Eugene hopes he’s not lying, because if he continues, he risks a heart attack…

Axel is under pressure

After working with Ethan until one in the morning the previous day, Axel offered to come over and sleep over at his house. As soon as they wake up, the two boys resume the preview. If Axel hopes to pass the year, Teissier pressures him to finish his class, saying that everyone is waiting for him around the corner.

In the locker room, Jasmine tells Axel to postpone the interview. If she tries to stay upbeat, the young girl is still disappointed that she didn’t support him when she needed it. Nervously, Axel replies that he has no duty to Nael, given that he is not her father. What he said deeply disturbed Jasmine.

In the park, Billy and Vicky see Jasmine crying. So Bill comes over to ask what’s going on. Jasmine tells them about her fight with Axel. First years protect the boy by recognizing that they are underwater as exams approach. Vic points out that Axel isn’t the best in the class and should probably take the pressure off Tessier. Jasmine realizes she wasn’t sensitive enough about it.

Later, Axel apologizes to Jasmine for what she said about Nael. In turn, she understands that he is not her father, and she should pay more attention to him. To remedy this, he prepared a special revision menu for her. The couple will reconcile.

Clotilde sees Solal clearly

Rose and Solal meet for an interview with Chef Armand. As an emblematic dish, he chose the first one, which he created after the death of Auguste. If it wasn’t easy for her to grow up with a father who takes up a lot of space, Clotilde also puts herself in the place of Rose, who grew up with a completely absent father. The moment is loaded with emotions. Solal is also very upset. Considering Rose, he offers her a glass of water, ignoring Clotilda’s request for help starting the recipe.

While having lunch with her sister, Clotilda takes the opportunity to open her eyes to Solal’s attachment. Rose honestly admits that she didn’t notice anything. Clotilda has always found him too nice and pleasant with the students, which is no fault, but advises him to distance himself from Solal.

Rose finds Solal in the kitchen to photograph her sister’s dish. The young man teases her possibility with his joke. He then states that he loved her laugh. Rose actually discovers that Clotilde was right and makes the excuse that she didn’t want to interfere with Solal’s exams, only to regain control of the rest of the book. Solal is very disappointed.

Back at home, Rose can’t wait to spend the evening with Antoine at the movies as planned. However, he has completely forgotten about their plans and plans to spend the evening working. As Rose sits in the living room laughing at Suleiman’s funny texts, Antoine complains that he can’t concentrate. Stung, Rose decides to go to the movies alone. Antoine actually believes that he should not be deprived of it.
