Another win for Amazon Prime Video: Streaming announced this Friday (26) that it has renewed its thriller series citadel for season 2. With a heavy cast, all episodes of the new year will be directed by Joe Russo. David Weil returns as showrunner.

Additionally, the production is the second most watched Prime Video original outside the United States and the fourth most watched worldwide.

The series follows the inhabitants of the city of Citadel, which fell eight years ago. The global and independent spy agency, charged with ensuring the safety of all people, has been destroyed by the agents of the Manticore, a powerful syndicate that manipulates the shadow world.
Two elite agents of the agency, Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), then had their memories erased so as not to resist. They begin to live in hiding, rebuilding their lives without knowing the past.
That is until Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), a former colleague of Mason’s, asks for help to stop Manticore from establishing a new world order.
Now they must team up with Nadia and embark on a mission to stop the Manticore.
