Starting April 15, M6 airs new episodes of season 20 of NCIS: Enquêtes Spéciales every Saturday night. A salvo of new episodes that’s special because it’s the first to be done entirely without Mark Harmon, Special Agent Gibbs’ translator, who left the police series during Season 19.
Now it’s former FBI agent Alden Parker, played for the occasion by Gary Cole, who leads the Washington team, which consists of agents McGee (Sean Murray), Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Knight (Katrina Law).
If until now M6 broadcasted two episodes of the 20th season every night (except last Saturday, when it offered a crossover event NCIS, NCIS: Hawaii and NCIS: Los Angeles), the private channel announced a slight change in the program for this Saturday. , May 27.
Indeed, although originally scheduled to air episodes 11 and 12 of season 20, M6 will eventually offer just one new episode at 9:10pm, followed by a rebroadcast of episode 1 of season 19.
The evening then resumes as usual with two new episodes of NCIS Season 2: Hawaii. The chain did not disclose the reasons for this sudden deprogramming.
But the decision is all the more surprising as M6 will resume its usual programming of two evening episodes in the coming weeks. Therefore, the 12th episode of the 20th season, which is therefore deprogrammed, will be broadcast on Saturday, June 3 at 21:10, followed by the 13th episode of the same season.
21 seasons for NCIS
Last February, CBS announced that NCIS: Special Investigations had been renewed for a 21-season run in the United States next year. Proof of this is that despite the departure of Mark Harmon, the detective series still remains a strong brand for the channel. It remains one of the most-watched dramas on the network.
NCIS: Hawaii, the latest spin-off of the NCIS franchise hosted by Vanessa Lachey, has also been renewed for a third season. As for NCIS: Los Angeles, the series came to a close this Sunday, May 21, at the end of its 14th season.
