The Senator of Paraná and the President of the Republic, former enemies, exchanged jokes throughout the year
the senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) mocked the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) on social networks this Saturday afternoon (27), listing various crimes, scams and frauds referring to the head of the federal executive or, even, to the PT.
“This year alone we’ve already had: lula1063 email used by organized crime, lula@gmail in the fraudulent vaccine card, access to Lul22 used by the judge who likes ‘hazing’ and now what is the Lula13 group for fix the games. Lula is not involved in these facts, but she is a constant reference”Moro wrote on Twitter.
The judge mentioned in the Twitter post is Edward Appius, holder of the 13th Federal Court of Curitiba, responsible for the remaining trials of Operation Lava Jato in the state of Paraná. He was temporarily removed from his duties by the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF-4) last Monday (22). The regional court is investigating whether Appio called the son of former speaker Lava Jato at TRF-4, posing as a federal justice employee and asking questions about family ties.
In appeal to @CNJ_official, to overturn the TRF4 removal order, the defense of federal judge Eduardo Appio doubts the paternity of the call: sometimes he denies that it was the voice of the magistrate, sometimes he admits the possibility. Read it on the Politically Blog. https://t.co/nNoQsOnwWz

In an interview with GloboNews, Appio confirmed that he had been using the “LUL22” login in the judicial system until this year. He said he was a “isolated and individual protest” against a prison he considered illegal: that of today’s president Lula.
Games chosen by Moro, referring to the football betting scandal, cites a report by UOL. According to information from the portal, the players of Sampaio Corrêa (MA) used a WhatsApp group called “Squid 13” to talk about betting and manipulation of Serie B matches. The group was allegedly created last November, a few days after the elections.

Moro, the judge charged with ordering Lula’s arrest in 2018, and the petitioner exchange pinpricks in the press or on social media with some frequency.
In March, Lula said it was a CCP plan to attack Moro, disclosed by the Federal Police “a frame” of the former magistrate. “I don’t know what he’s going to do with his life if he keeps lying like that”said the PT
A few days earlier, in an interview, Lula had said that he thought of taking revenge on Moro when he was in prison. “[Eu dizia:] That’s no good. Everything will be fine only when I fuck this Moro. Eliminate the word ‘fuck'”he said.
The following month, in April, the president said over breakfast with reporters that he had been instructed by the Secretariat of Communications not to speak again of the disaffection. “I don’t have to talk about the thing or the ‘thing'”he said, also referring to the former president Jair Bolsonaro.
