Fiel votes and Corinthians launches the fourth kit for the 2023 season; watch

This Sunday, Corinthians launched the fourth kit for the 2023 season. Chosen by vote by Fiel, the cape was unveiled by fans at the Neo Química Arena, who raised a banner with the jersey in the east sector, before the ball rolled for the match against Corinthians, Fluminense.

The #MantoDoCorinthians competition was a partnership between Corinthians and Nike and opened the opportunity for Fiel to participate, for the first time, in the creation of the club’s fourth mantle, jersey that the fans have chosen to take to the field, dressing the professional teams of men’s and women’s football. The “Origeni” shirt, by the author Leonardo Fojo, winner with 56% of the votes.

“It’s an honor today to be able to somehow represent the fans who have been with me since the cradle, especially through art, it’s the only way I can truly express who I am and how I feel. I still remember perfectly July 4, 2012 . ., after my father came home from work and went around the city with me looking for a Corinthians shirt, I came back with one with a gray and black striped collar, all happy, not knowing that almost 11 years later , a mania I had for designing a team shirt would have made me enter the history of the club of my heart, the same one that taught me to never stop believing in victory, that made me understand what I am” said Leonardo .

This year’s Corinthians fourth shirt refers to the club’s first kit, together with the first home team, Campo do Lenheiro. In the beige color, the powdered details celebrate the workers who get their shirts dirty every day during the long hours of work, leaving sweat and soul, with the determination and faith of the true masters of Corinthians. Detailed in black on the collar and sleeves of the polo shirt, the Club’s pioneering 1913 shield, the CP, meaning Corinthians Paulista, appears centered with the swoosh (Nike logo) below. Inside the shirt, on the back of the neck, the writing “It’s the people’s team” reinforces the working DNA of the club.

CONTEST #MANTODOCORINTHIANI

In the first phase of the campaign, in an open contest on the app SCCP universe, more than 2,000 fan-created artworks were submitted using the #MantoDoCorinthians hashtag on social media. In the second phase, eight of these models were selected by a jury and presented to the public by their authors – seven during the Anniversary Live “O Ano Dourado” and the eighth a few weeks later, due to the withdrawal of an initial selection.

After more than 100,000 votes in 17 days of fan voting in the app, the two finalists were selected for the final stage of the contest. The announcement of the winning kit was made this Sunday, a few minutes before the ball passed to Corinthians and Fluminense.
