The moment long awaited by many taxpayers has finally arrived. Tomorrow, Wednesday 31, i payment of the first repayment installment of income taxes 2023. The date coincides with deadline for tax return, which also ends this Wednesday. If you haven’t declared yet, run to not paying the fine.
In this first batch it will be contemplated 4.1 million taxpayers. The amount to be paid is considered the highest in history: approximately R$ 7.5 billion will be distributed.
Among those who receive the refund payment in this first batch are priority groups (look down) and the taxpayers who have benefited from it pre-filled declaration and/or has chosen to do so receive your refund via Pix.
Anyone wishing to receive a refund on the first lot, however, should have reported to the Revenue Agency by the 10th of this month.
The following will be included in this first payment:
• Elderly from 60 years;
• taxpayers with physical or mental disabilities or suffering from serious illness;
• Taxpayers whose main source of income is education;
• Anyone who has used the pre-compiled account statement and/or has chosen to receive a refund via Pix.
Refunds will be paid five lots that last until the end of September (see calendar below).
If your return is not held in the fine mesh and you are able to receive a refund from the Revenue Agency, the consultation can be done on the Revenue Agency website, through the portal My income tax.
The Revenue Agency expects 39.5 million taxpayers to submit their returns by the deadline.
