The new Apple Music extension focused on classical music is now available on the Play Store, the Android app store. Apple Music Classical was released worldwide on March 28 of the same year, free of charge for music platform subscribers.
The new app is actually an updated version of Primephonic streaming, purchased from Apple. Only classic content is available in the new version, such as orchestras, conductors, musicians and other aspects of the genre.
As promised from the beginning, the application was made available to Android users this Tuesday (30), for a fee. To access them for free, you need to have an associated Apple Music or Apple One subscription.
The platform launched with a catalog that includes more than five million songs and thousands of exclusive albums, but like other music apps, it will expand with new releases and remasters.
Apparently, Apple’s main goal is to roll out the service to all smartphone app stores even before making it available for its own lines of devices, such as iPads and Macs, that aren’t yet compatible with Apple Music classic.
