In a first video posted on May 13, he traced over a drawing of Halle Bailey the dress the actress might have worn in the scene where her father turns her into a human and she emerges from the sea in an outfit fit for a princess.
Unfortunately this part is not seen in live action and therefore, it was based on the animated version to create it. As well as adding a huge amount of sparkle, the youngster explained that she added a sheer fabric to the bottom to give it a sea foam effect, which matches the star’s personality.
Although the outfit in question in the animated version is silver, the tiktoker incorporated other colors into her creation as she noticed that Ariel’s mermaid tail now had various shades like pink, purple and blue.

Netizens think their designs were better than the live action dresses
His creation had more than 1.4 million views and netizens thought the result would be perfect to incorporate into the tape.
At the request of her followers, Holly Fae also made Ariel’s blue dress, which she wears when she explores the human world with Eric, since again Disney did not incorporate it into Halle Bailey’s wardrobe, but used another one that was not for public preferences.
The content creator made it clear that she would respect the colors, but the outfit would have some modifications, since from her live-action perspective the inspiration they used for the costumes was from the 1790s to the 1860s.
So she added a Victorian print to Ariel’s corset and added more volume to the dress. One detail he couldn’t forget was giving Halle Bailey the iconic bow that Ariel wears.
