Yet another feature film hit by the American screenwriters’ strike. “Batman: Part II” – which will begin filming later this year – has been brought forward to 2024.
The approximately four-month delay in recording should directly reflect on the film’s release, which was initially scheduled for theaters on October 3, 2025. However, no date change has been officially reported.
Little information about the new film’s plot has been revealed so far. “Batman: Part II” will again feature direction and screenplay by Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson as the lead actor. The screenplay is written by Mattson Tomlin.
Affected by the Hollywood strike
The stoppage of US screenwriters has lasted for about a month and is affecting various film productions – but there is still no provision for an agreement between the parties.
