With the release of the sequel, Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse (2023), this speculation gained more strength.
In a publication made in twitterthe bill @GreyfoxRead denoted how the character’s plot is completely a transsexual allegory, as matrix, because the character’s colors are the same as the trans flag. Furthermore, her father who is a police officer also wears the same colors as this flag.
