Samsung Australia’s website has released a statement confirming the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked for July 27; new foldables and Galaxy Watch 6 will be unveiled during the event
It is no longer news that Samsung’s biggest leaker is Samsung itself. This Wednesday (7), the Australian branch of the manufacturer pre-published the release confirming the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked at the end of July. At the event, Samsung will showcase its new Z line foldables and the sixth generation of Galaxy Watch watches.
For the first time, Galaxy Unpacked will be held in South Korea, “the home of Samsung”. The official date hasn’t been confirmed, but leakers claim the event is scheduled for July 27. The venue that will host the next Galaxy Unpacked is COEX, an events center that integrates the shopping complex of the World Trade Center Seoul. In previous years, Samsung has hosted the event in Barcelona, Berlin, London and New York.

The leaker Alvin has fully revealed the text published on the editorial staff of Samsung Australia. The release, as expected, doesn’t speak to all letters that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be introduced. However, the statement does mention that the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked will have “its focus directed towards folders” — plural. But calm down, it doesn’t mean we’ll have a third Galaxy Z at the event.
The big expectation for foldables is that Samsung finally introduces a Z Fold with a smaller fold and no gap when closed. All competitive leaflets already have this design improvement.
In addition to the upcoming mobile phones in the Galaxy Z line, Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Watch 6 watches, a new generation of devices. Some of these models have already been homologated here in Brazil.
