New for the season is a new medium-sized map for Warzone 2.0, titled Vondel. This is a sea region in Europe, evacuated after the final events of Season 3. The new Warzone map will be able to be explored in Resurgence, DMZ and Lockdown LT modes, already at launch.

In terms of size, Vondel is located between Al Mazrah and Ashika Island and can require up to 18 operators for the DMZ and 72 for Resurgence. Players can expect a mix of urban environment with large structures to explore (inside and out), plenty of vertical play options and ways to battle those who take advantage of them, including parkour courses and many secrets to discover.

In addition to the arrival of Vondel, Al Mazrah is also getting some topographic changes this season. Another important detail, the Warzone Leaderboard will be reset with the first complete series of Season 4. A Reconnect function will also be introduced. In DMZ mode, the changes concern the dynamic weather system.

New maps for Modern Warfare II

Single life game modes can be even more intense with twice as many players in the match

Players who prefer more traditional multiplayer will also get six new maps to play in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II at the season’s launch.

Between familiar locations from the franchise and new scenarios, here are the maps that will enter Multiplayer mode from June 14th:

  • Showdown (6×6 map, launch)
  • Kunstenaar district (6×6 map, release)
  • Market (map sharpshooter, launch)
  • Penthouse (Sniper Map, Drop)
  • Mawizeh Marshlands (battle map, release)
  • Ahkdar village (battle map, release)
  • Vondel Waterfront (6×6 map, midseason)

Additionally, Find & Destroy and Prisoner Rescue modes will be expanded to 12×12 for a limited time. Roster rotation includes these intense modes with double the number of players per team.

6v6 versions of these experiences will still be available in Quickplay, but expect 12v12 featured playlists from these modes during Season 4.
