Transformers is back for the 7th installment. 5 years after Bumblebee, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts offers a start in line with the previous opus (95,809 admissions vs. 109,490 admissions for the episode released in 2018). It is the least successful launch of the saga, the record held by Transformers 3 and its 337,853 opening day reception in France.

Transformers leaves little room for competition, slightly less booming at the box office. No film really manages to break out of the game, even if Isabelle Mergo’s new film, Golden Hands, manages to pull in 18,300 viewers. Nevertheless, this is the worst performance of Isabelle Mergo’s career. Finally Widowed had the best start among the 4 feature films she made.

Bruno Podalides is on his heels Golden handswith his new film Wow! and his chorus cast. 15,141 viewers were captivated by this comedy about a real estate agency. The beginning is perfectly in line with the filmmaker’s previous film, Les 2 Alfred, which was released in June 2021.
