Claudine Manigan for incriminating information

At the BLG office, Claudine questions Johanna about her relationship. Indeed, the lawyer wants to know if they are able to distinguish between affect and work with Ian. Johanna then replies that everything is fine in that regard. When Becker’s ex-wife asks if Lt. Cross has completed the preliminary investigation, Johanna replies that unfortunately she can’t answer him because they agreed not to talk about work at home.

Meanwhile, Lt. Cross appraises Commissioner Becker about the bogus investigation and tells his boss that Prosecutor Bernier will soon have enough evidence to begin an investigation.

Later, Johanna calls Ian and offers to meet him for a drink at Les Sauvages. Although tempting, she still specifies that she needs to finish the case for the prosecutor. Johanna then orders him to do it tonight when he gets home. Finally, the couple agrees to meet in a thatched hut. A discussion not lost on Claudine, who rushes to invite Margot to the bar where her grandson works.

Late in the afternoon, Johanna and Ian are sitting at their table when Claudine and Margot come to greet them. Of course, it wouldn’t take long for Master Becker to invite them to the table and question Lt. Cross about the Delarive case. The latter immediately makes him realize that he will not have to wait long to read his conclusions. When the lawyer points out that there isn’t much incriminating evidence against their client, Ian says he’ll look into it all in the investigative file. A short time later, Claudine calls Alexander to arrange a meeting with him in his office.

Later, Ian finishes his report and confides in Johanna that he found Claudine bloated. If the latter agrees that his colleague is a real pit bull, he is especially happy that he saw his maneuver like that.

In the evening, Claudine warns Alexander Delarive that the prosecutor risks opening an investigation. So she subtly manipulates her client into illegally entering Johanna’s house to get her hands on the items available to Lt. Cross. And since this is the only way to find out what is in this file, Alexander agrees to take care of it himself.

Claire agrees to team up with Helen

At the hospital, Claire asks Dr. Alphand about Helen’s health. Although he cannot say for sure, the doctor thinks that Elena does not have a psychiatric disorder. As she plans to investigate Victor’s disappearance with him, Allen suggests calling the former nurse to see if her behavior is unusual. However, Claire finds this pointless as Helen is very good at hiding her game. Anyway, if she wants to find her father, Claire will have to reunite with him.

Not far from there, Alix and Helen have a meeting with a farmer who needs money. Alix then suggests that she hide Boucher’s paintings in her farmhouse and then pretend that they were always there. He will then have to resell them to Christian Peyrac for €10,000. However, before hiring him, Helen points out that there is a risk in this story. So she tells him that the paintings are not as old as they seem. Therefore, if the buyer were to realize this, he could end up in court. At the risk of up to five years in prison, the winemaker promises to think it over and get back to them after making a decision. An angry Alix then berates Helen for ruining their affair.

Afterwards, Helen gets a call from Claire, who agrees to work with her to investigate Victor’s disappearance. Elaine, delighted, is convinced that they are right to join forces. After Claire has a spare key to her father’s house, the two women go to her house and search through her belongings in hopes of finding a lead. After they have collected many files, they distribute them among themselves. As they leave Victor’s house, Elena and Claire promise to pass on the slightest information.

At the end of the day, Florent returns home to find Claire browsing her father’s computer. The nurse tells her that she is teaming up with Helen to find her father. Nevertheless, she is convinced that her former friend is involved in her disappearance and even thinks that he is the one who kidnapped her. In fact, he decided to approach her to find out the truth. Words that don’t exactly sit well with Florent, who judges his perverse strategy.

At the gallery, Alix informs Christian that she has not yet found the owner of the paintings. When he learns that it was Helen who ruined everything, the art dealer is furious. To his dismay, Alix promises to find a rare pearl to carry out their plan.
