The telenovela about a Brazilian soccer league has gained a new chapter. On Monday, the Emirati group Mubadala realized Lb a new offer for the formation of a trade block. As revealed by “ge”, the proposal to be approved must only be signed by Corinthians, Flamengo, Palmeiras and São Paulo.
This proposal has the difference in the number of clubs as a condition to close the deal. Recently Botafogo, Cruzeiro and Vasco left the group, which made Mubadala review conditions. This offer does not form a league yet, but a block, which is seen as a preliminary stage.
Mubadala proposes to buy 12.5% of the broadcasting rights of the clubs for 50 years for the amount of R$ 1.3 billion. To convince the clubs, the UAE group is also offering 3 million reais to each club in advance.
With this proposal, Mubadala tries to put pressure on Botafogo, Cruzeiro and Vasco to change their decision. In addition, the fund also seeks to get clubs in Liga Forte Futebol to switch sides.
