First Pictures of Consent, the theatrical adaptation of Vanessa Springora’s book, which, like the original story, should make a big splash this fall.
This autobiographical text, which recounts the impact and sexual abuse Vanessa Springora suffered as a minor, caused a stir and quickly became one of the best-selling books when it was released in January 2020. The subject of multiple translations around the world, and a film adaptation project has been announced for summer 2020.

Kim Higgelin was particularly featured in the Plan B series, which will be broadcast by TF1 in May 2021. The first photo centered around his character in Le Consentement has just been released.
The cast also includes Elodie Bushes (Vanessa Springora, Adult), Leticia Casta and Sarah Giraudeau.

In a press release issued when the project was announced, the producers provided the following details: “(Vanessa Springora) explains how she became the victim of a triple predator: sexual, literary and psychic. But beyond his individual story, he also questions the excesses of the era and the complacency of an environment blinded by talent and celebrity..”
The theatrical release is scheduled for October 11, 2023.
