Diamond Films released on Thursday (15th) the second trailer of one of the most awaited horror productions of the year: Speak with me (Speak with me). Produced by A24, a production house famous for films such as X – The sign of death (2022) and Oscar winner All everywhere at the same time (2022), the feature film presented a bizarre plot preview.
Directed by brothers Danny and Michael Philippou (known from YouTube channel RackaRacka), Speak with me follows a group of young people who discover how to summon spirits using an embalmed hand and become obsessed with adrenaline. Looking for a distraction on the anniversary of her mother’s death, Mia (Sophie Wilde) reunites with her friends for another session, until one of them goes too far and unleashes supernatural forces.
In addition to Wilde, the cast also includes Miranda Otto (Lord of the Rings) and Zoe Terakes (Nine unknowns).
Success in international festivals, Speak with me has already obtained a 97% approval rating on the review site Rotten Tomatoes and also counts the participation of the producer of the famous The Babadook. It remains to be seen whether the Brazilian public will have the same good impression.
