This Saturday (17th), during the Tudum event in São Paulo, Netflix announced news for several of its productions, including some premiere dates and trailers as well. Check out the main announcements below and get ready to follow the previews of upcoming movies and series on the streaming service:
Rescue 2
The movie came out on Friday (16th), it has Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake. It is the sequel to a production released in 2020. The promise is more action and a greater connection between the characters. Chris Hemsworth stressed how much he enjoyed playing the character and said the second film was even better than the first.
Onstage, Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave expressed interest in moving forward with the franchise. And audiences loved the idea. They confirmed that discussions about a possible Extraction 3 are already underway. We’ll wait and see, but by all indications, the Tyler Rake saga isn’t over yet.
Round 6
Then came the news about Round 6. The Korean production became a real phenomenon when it was released in 2021 and Netflix developed a second season, with the promise of even more thrills than the first wave of episodes. With new characters, the second season of Round 6. Officially called Round 6: Season 2, the production does not yet have a fixed release date.
Before the new installments, however, the event showcased the premiere of Round 6: The Competition, the production-driven reality show. Other than the new batch of episodes from the main series, there’s no forecast yet as to when the Round 6 reality show will hit the streaming service.
Elite: The new season will star Anitta
Season 7 is coming! The Spanish production that conquered Netflix’s global audience appeared during Tudum with some information on upcoming episodes. André Lamoglia and Valentina Zenere took the stage to talk about what we can expect. New characters, new stories and many of the elements that have made the series popular all over the world are among the promises of the seventh season, which will star the singer Anitta.

Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte
For drama fans, India Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest, Queen Charlotte and King George III from the Netflix series took to the stage. They thanked the audience’s warm reception for the series that premiered in May on the streaming service. The actors have also reached out to Golda Rosheuvel (who played Charlotte in Bridgerton) about other future episodes of the original version of the series. And the good news for fans is that the Bridgerton Experience, an interactive fan attraction, will be visiting São Paulo.
Finally, actress Nicola Coughlan reminds us that Season 3 of Bridgerton is on the way — however, there’s no prediction yet on when it will release.
Emily in the fourth season of Paris
Lily Collins, on video, talked about the upcoming episodes that will tell the continuation of Emily’s story in Paris, France. She promises more romance and emotion, as fans are used to, and confirmed that the fourth season will also have a new setting: Rome, Italy.
