Taylor Zakhar Pérez and Nicolás Galicin will direct the film adaptation of their favorite book Red, white and royal blue For Amazon and Berlanti/Schechter Films.
Roma-Com follows Alex Claremont Diaz (Perez), the Mexican-American son of the country’s newly elected president, who is immediately recognized as the American equivalent of a young royal family.

Casey McQuiston is behind New York Times A bestseller adapted and directed by Mateo López. Clifton Collins Jr., Stephen Fry and Sarah Shah will also play Rachel Hilson, Eli Bamber, Anne Shetty, Polo Morini, Ahmed Elhaji and Akshay Khan.
Greg Berlant and Sarah Shekhtar of Berlanti/Schechter Films will co-produce the film with Michael McGrath serving as executive producer alongside Lopez and McQueen.
Perez is best known for Netflix kissing the two Movies with other credits covering the HBO max show Martha And the next Amazon show 1 up.
Galitzine was in live action Cinderella The musical stars Camilla Cabello in a movie that also came out on Amazon and will later be seen on Netflix purple hearts.
