Superhero movies have never been stingy with hidden details and references to the comics from which they are inspired. Zack Snyder’s Justice League is no exception, offering a wink that can only be seen with a good remote control to pause at the right time!
This moment occurs when Barry Allen returns home after visiting his father. He enters his secret lair, where Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck, is waiting for him. The latter points out that Barry Allen made the costume, while attentive viewers notice someone else.
Behind Batman, on multiple screens in the warehouse, you can see an excerpt from the animated series Rick and Morty, and an excerpt that was definitely not chosen at random!
The episode in question (S01E09, La petite bou-Rick des Horreurs) shows Rick and Morty training against a DMX track called I will give X to Ya to go and fight the devil lecturing to a dumbfounded audience.
The bodybuilding of the two characters of the series reminds us of the bulging muscles of the members of the Justice League, and the fact of fighting with the devil echoes the plot of the film, in which superheroes unite against a terrible threat. Steppenwolf, nicknamed “The End of the World”.

After Justice League hit theaters in 2017, another version of the film was released, called the Snyder Cut, an initial version of the film that is over four hours long and in which we find the original idea and vision for the feature film. Until then, personal drama does not keep him away from the set in favor of Joss Whedon.
Note that the Rick and Morty reference is also in the Snyder Cut, at 1h31 min 40 sec to be exact. Further proof if needed that the idea came from Zack Snyder himself.
