The king of action has a pleasant residue. On May 25, Arnold Schwarzenegger premiered his first series on Netflix Fubar, in which a secret agent teams up with his daughter on the trail of a dreaded trafficker.
Between settling family scores and clashing generations, this action comedy relives the fun spirit of ’80s cinema.
Although the series shot to the top of the platform’s most-watched programs immediately after its release, the series did not convince Schwarzenegger’s most die-hard fans. This is evidenced by its audience rating of 3.3/5 on AlloCiné, including both rave reviews and more negative or even downright hostile opinions.
Although the show received extensive promotional coverage, including a clip featuring Schwarz as the new head of Netflix, the future of the show remained up in the air as no additional seasons were announced by the platform.
This is not a blooper. Can’t wait for season 2 with my FUBAR family. @netflix pic.twitter.com/DjkJigEEp9

But the show’s team arriving at the Tudum event in Brazil gave Netflix the perfect opportunity to announce that a second season of Fubar will indeed see the light of day. Good news for fans of the series (apparently more numerous than we think), as well as for Schwarzenegger, who took to social networks to rejoice that he soon found his “fubari family”.
The first season of Fubar is now available on Netflix.
