According to the most recent rumors, the X100 Pro Plus model would have been chosen to bring this novelty. The information was published by well-known leaker Ice Universe (@UniverseIce on Twitter):

In practice, a higher resolution sensor will be able to increase the level of detail even to greater approximations. Thus, this camera would be able to present results closer to those seen in optical zoom sets: like the 10x of the S23 Ultra, for example.

For now, there’s no telling what the maximum zoom of this 200MP camera will be, but it’s possible that information will be disclosed in future leaks.

In addition, other sources have reportedly reported that several 200 MP sensors for smartphones are in development. Therefore, the presence of high-resolution components in auxiliary cameras may increase in the coming months.

For the main camera, the Vivo X100 Pro Plus might come with a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor and 1-inch size. At ultrawide, a 32MP component is expected.

In addition to the camera set, Vivo X100 Pro Plus has already received probable specifications via previous news. The device must, for example, it carries the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which is scheduled for release in October this year.

However, two other devices with different processors should appear in the line: these are Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, expected with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 which should also arrive in October.
