If he were to sign with Vasco, it would be the first time in his career that Serginho would wear the shirt of a Brazilian club. The attacker was at Giresunspor, in Türkiye.
– I really had to take the opportunities that I had. When I went to smaller countries, this was the opportunity I had. But I think it was worth it. If I’m here, if Vasco has contacted me, I’m happy. I hope everything works out,” he said.
Last season Serginho played 93 games. Additionally, he scored 10 goals and provided 19 assists.
