“It won’t happen again, I’m sorry.” With these few words published on Instagram, actress Kim Cerrone publicly apologized. On April 5, 22, he was sentenced to a heavy fine of 20 million won (about $15,000) for a drunken driving accident in southern Seoul.
During the events, Kim Se-ron lost control of his car and crashed into an electrical transformer, knocking out power to the entire neighborhood for several hours. But that’s not all, because the latter tried to flee the scene before the police arrived, and then refused to take a blood alcohol test.
A number of rumors in the Korean media have floated the idea of a possible dismissal of the actor from the Netflix series La Chase dans le Sang, which is currently among the top ten most-watched series on the platform in nearly forty countries. Including France!
The rumors are finally unconfirmed as Kim Se-ron does indeed appear as Cha Hyun-joo. Also known as a pop star in South Korea, the latter has also appeared in Once Upon a Small Town and Descendants of the Sun, also available on Netflix.
The young actor issued a public apology for his behavior, a post that was liked by more than 182,000 people and commented on by more than 18,000 people. Let’s hope the consequences of his actions now make him think twice, drink or drive, you have to choose:
