Newcastle open the coffers to remove Sandro Tonali from Milan

The English have offered around 80 million euros for the midfielder

One of Milan’s great strong points, midfielder Sandro Tonali is in advanced talks to reinforce Newcastle next season.

The British club, bought by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF), offered the Rossoneri a sum close to 80 million euros for the 23-year-old.

Furthermore, the Magpies have offered the Italian a six-year contract worth eight million euros plus bonuses.

Despite the criticisms of the Milan supporters, the figures offered by Newcastle make it difficult for the AC Milan board of directors to refuse the proposal. The number eight shirt has been one of the club’s great recent idols.

If Tonali’s farewell is confirmed, Milan will fill the coffers and will be able to use part of the amount to force the cast for the 2023/24 season.

Unveiled by Brescia, the midfielder was signed in 2020 and played 130 games for Milan, as well as scoring seven goals.

Tonali helped the team win the Serie A of the 2021/22 season. .
