It all started on Saturday, June 17th in São Paulo, during the Tudum event attended by AlloCiné. Netflix has made big announcements by landing some of its biggest stars on its schedule. Among the most anticipated series: news from Squid Game Season 2, the real tidal wave of 2021.
The promise is fulfilled after Netflix released a teaser showing the cast of season 2. We’ll find Jung-jae Lee as Ji-hoon (ex n°456), Ha-joon as Wi-joon – yes, the cop, but also Byung-hoon Lee, who plays the front man, and Yoo Gong, who we secretly saw as the employer.
The teaser also features several confirmed South Korean actors joining the cast. Sung-Hon Park, the actor who plays the villain in Netflix’s latest hit K-drama The Glory, will also be in attendance.
The other two actors are Ha-Neul Kang, well known in South Korea for the rom-com When the Camellia Blooms, and actor-rapper Dong-Geun Young, known for the historical drama The Forbidden Marriage. But we don’t have details about their characters yet.
