Rony regrets his absence against Bahia and asks Palmeiras to concentrate against Botafogo

After training at Palmeiras last Friday (23), Rony – who returned to the Academia de Futebol field after being called up for the Brazilian national team – regretted his absence in Verdão’s last duel against Bahia.

“It was difficult, my team-mates created several chances and we could have started with a positive result. “Now I’m back and I’m very anxious to be able to wear the Palmeiras shirt again, I feel a surreal nostalgia and I hope that we can play a great match in front of our fans on Sunday,” he added.

Precisely in relation to the match against Botafogo, which brings together the Serie A leaders of the Brazilian championship, Rony praised his Sunday rival and asked Alviverde to be serious. The confrontation will take place at the Allianz Parque, at 10:00 (Brasilia time).

“It will be a difficult match, we know the phase that Botafogo is going through and we cannot be disconnected at any moment. It is an intense and confident team because the victories are coming and we must be concentrated.
