This is an alternative for consumers who live far from a post office or outside the delivery coverage area. The service is available in the Federal District and in the states of Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
How does the postal collection point work?
The Collection Point is an establishment authorized to collect and collect deliveries at the Post Office. Local professionals are trained to use the system and the state-owned company pays a fee of R$1.10 for each package captured.
In this way, the shop serves as a place to pick up a delivery and also for a customer to leave a parcel for a post office employee to collect, without the need to go to a branch.
There are three main requirements for a store to sign up for the service:
- Be in one of Correios’ regions of interest;
- Have a physical space in which to store parcels;
- Have a mobile phone with internet access and a printer.
The accreditation contract has a duration of 60 months and registration takes place via an online form. Only domestic destination orders and parcels where the sum of all dimensions do not exceed 200cm can be accepted.

How to register as a Postal Collection Point
First you need to access the link of the form relating to the state in which you reside:
- Federal District (spiderweb);
- Minas Gerais (spiderweb);
- St. Paul (spiderweb);
- Rio de Janeiro (spiderweb).
Then follow these steps:
- Fill out the form with name, CNPJ, CEP, address, email and phone number;
- Confirm acceptance of the terms;
- Click “Submit”.
After submitting the form, the Correios team requests some documents about the company. This information is submitted for review prior to submission of the accreditation agreement, but there is no deadline for a response.
