Director Leo Ludovic Colbo-Justin Was fascinated by the mix of action and comedy proposed by the project and the idea of connecting the two characters, who were in all respects opposite, just as Თხა. He admits that it was difficult to find the right balance between comedy and action: “Many directors want to make action movies with very harsh and realistic scenes, but here we are dealing with two characters (Leo and Roma) who are the opposite! Even Burlesque falling out of a window, the tricks from which they come out unscathed.”
Take care of the form
Film director Ludovic Colbo-Justin, a trained cinematographer (especially working on Frank Dubois’s “All Upright”), paid special attention to the light, costumes and scenery of his film. The lion was also shot at 35mm. The director explains: “It’s not hard to fall into aesthetics or lose comedy codes or rhythm, but yes: you can be stylish in this workout!”

4 years after Raid Dingue, which he himself staged, Danny Boone Returns to the action-comedy genre with The Lion. This time he invested heavily in tricks. He explains: “These are the characters in the movie who have some pretty strong flaws: Look at Jason Bourne. But they also remain war machines that can wake up at any time. … We have to feel in ‘The Lion’ that I’m trusted to serve history.”
