The supergroup 3rd Secret, consisting of Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron, Void guitarist Bubba DuPree, and singers Jennifer Johnson and Jillian Raye of the group Giants in the Trees, has surprisingly released their second album, aptly titled “2nd 3rd Secret”.

Without much fanfare, the second album was released over the weekend and won its first “live” clip this Monday (6/26), for the track “Ditch”. Check it out below.

Despite little information about the production of “2nd 3rd Secret”, the material is known to have been co-written. However, nearly every song is credited to a different combination of group members. The album, recorded and distributed completely independently, follows the group’s first release, which also came as a surprise in 2022.
