It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Wednesday 28 June 2023 episode 696 [SPOILERS]

On Wednesday, June 28, it all starts here…

Axel and Jasmine are not on the same wavelength

At the hospital, the doctor tells Axel that his head injury is completely resolved and he will be able to go out. Lola takes the opportunity to question the doctor about her son’s hallucinations. Axel recounts his memories of being rescued in the woods and where he thought he saw his biological father, who had died. The doctor confirms that it could be hallucinations. However, for Emmanuel, the mystery surrounding the person who brought Axel to the clinic remains.

Meanwhile, Jasmine hastily and fearfully prepares for her meeting with Axel. She admits to Hortense that the accident made her realize a few things: she likes Thibaut, but is madly in love with Axel.

Later, Axel finds Ethan and Solal in Institute Park. He confides in them that he is trying to talk to Jasmine because he feels lost about their relationship after seeing her on the train with Thibaut. However, Ethan and Solal highlight Jasmine’s deep concerns, as well as the research she did when she disappeared. Therefore, they believe that there is a way to make things right between them.

At the roommate, Thibault goes to see Jasmine to listen to Axel. Jasmine takes the opportunity to thank him for his help with the search, then confesses that she hopes to pick up the pieces with her ex. Thibaut sincerely wishes him the best. As he takes her by the hand to say goodbye, Axel arrives and sees them, entangled.

Axel leaves, but Jasmine manages to get to him to explain what she just saw. He insists that he wants to be with her and no one else. Axel believes her and admits that he loves her too. However, the youngster wonders if their relationship is strong enough considering the damage they’ve done to each other lately. He thinks they shouldn’t get back together.

Axel then goes to the cafeteria to get some pastries. He meets Amber there. Both briefly mention the young girl’s trauma and the reunion between Axel and Jasmine, avoiding going into detail. Axel decides to buy a cookie. Opening the wallet, he discovers a ring bearing the initials AA. He shows it to Amber, who guesses that the initials are Auguste Armani.

Axel immediately goes to show Rose. He immediately recognizes his father’s seal with which he was buried. Axel then tells him about what he saw when he was in the forest, suggesting that Auguste Armand might, in fact, still be alive…

Enzo goes after Vic

At boarding school, Vicky is depressed. He tells Billy that Enzo’s surgery didn’t work. But if they try a second time, there’s a chance it will never run again. He and his parents will have to say it today. Vicky is more scared because he feels guilty for what happened to Enzo. If he hadn’t been pushed to become a member of the jury, he would never have boarded the train. Billy reminds her that the accident is no one’s fault. She adds that in any case, Enzo will never blame her because he is in love.

Later, Malia, Jibril, and Vicky gather at Enzo’s bedside to inform him of his condition. The shocked young man denies. He tries to get out of bed to prove he can walk. In order not to fall, Vicky holds him. Feeling humiliated, Enzo viciously attacks him. He claims he tricked his parents into pretending to be his girlfriend, then accuses him of being responsible for her condition before violently kicking her out.

Vicki stays in the hallway, hoping to get a chance to talk to Enzo again to make things right. But Malia and Jibril dissuade him, saying that their son especially needs peace and being surrounded by family. So Vic is asked to distance himself.

Greg and Elliot are ready to get married

To re-open Double A, Greg and Elliott come to Theo’s brigade to help. He thanks them for their invaluable help. Miriel informs them that about thirty customers will attend the service. Then she makes sure Elliott is fully capable of cooking. Year 3 proves that he’d rather make himself useful than an accident.

At the end of the service, Greg and Elliot stay in the kitchen to tidy up and clean up. Greg then tells his boyfriend that he received and listened to the voicemail he sent her when she thought she was going to die on the train. Greg feels guilty for not being there for her at that time. He never wants to be separated from her again. Greg then proposed to Elliot in a few weeks. He happily accepts.

Greg and Elliot then warn Miriel of their plan. Mary agreed to marry them on July 14th, even though it is that day. But the couple could not find an available room in the area for that date. Therefore, they ask Miriel to organize their wedding at the institute by privatizing Double A. The deputy director does not see any discomfort. Since Teissier has to go to a conference in Strasbourg that day, Miriel agrees that it is not necessary to tell him what the event is.

So Antoine warns Emmanuelle that he is going to organize an important event with Greg and Elliott at the Institute on July 14, without giving details. Teissier, who ultimately canceled the conference in Strasbourg, is trying to find out more. The couple admits that they want to organize a wedding at the institute. Despite his reluctance, Teissier accepts on the condition that the party ends at 2 a.m…. and they offer champagne.
