The exam does not indicate a fracture and Pablo Maia will be re-evaluated this Wednesday

The image examination carried out by Pablo Maia this Tuesday, after the player was substituted in the first half of the match against Tigre, in Morumbi, for the Copa Sudamericana, did not reveal any type of fracture.

Initially it was thought that Pablo Maia had suffered an injury to his left ankle, however, what worries the San Paolo midfielder is the blow to his right leg, the result of a clash with defender Leizza, who was immediately sent off by referee Guillermo Guerrero.

Pablo Maia will be re-evaluated this Wednesday by the medical department of São Paulo, but no other type of examination is initially planned. The expectation is that the pain in the region will lessen over time.

The tricolor crowd was immediately apprehensive with the scene of Pablo Maia leaving the field on a stretcher, crying. The driver’s trip to the hospital made the residents of São Paulo even more fearful, but apparently it was nothing more than a scare.

At the age of 21, Pablo Maia is the absolute regular in the squad commanded by Dorival Júnior and indicated as the most likely sale of São Paulo in this mid-year transfer window, as some European football clubs, especially English, are monitoring the midfielder for a long time.

In 2023, the player played in 29 games, 23 of which as a starter, scored three goals and had one assist.
