Lady Bug and Cat Noir hits theaters on July 5! Directed by Jeremy Zag, who has already worked on the hit series, the feature film follows the origins of Marinette and Adrien – aka Ladybug and Cat Noir – and their heroic fate in the heart of Paris.
The first trailer released today shows Marinette’s first transformation into Ladybug and her debut as the French superheroine.

Created in 2015 by Thomas Astruc, the Franco-Korean-Japanese series is a real phenomenon and is broadcast in more than 120 countries. Spanning 5 seasons to date, Miraculous has amassed over 32 billion views on YouTube worldwide.
While there have already been long-running specials ( Miraculous New York: Heroes United , Miraculous World: Shanghai , Legend of Ladydragon ) this is the first time a series set in Paris has been adapted into a full-length film on the big screen. .
The event will be in theaters from July 5.
