What’s the story?
In the South Asian country of Bhutan, a group of friends come across the skeleton of a supernatural being while hiking, which fascinates them. More than two decades later, we follow former police officer James (James Badge Dale) as he searches for a friend’s missing daughter. She just left a goddamn message saying the “last day messenger” made her do it. From there, James is trapped in a confusing and intangible vortex.
