They are joined by newcomers such as Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell and Yasser Lester.
A series of garbage more than a movie?
The synopsis for the series has yet to be revealed, but Seth Rogen is already promising that it will be just as trashy, if not more, than the original film, which he co-wrote with Evan Goldberg (SuperGrave), Kyle Hunter, and Arielle Shafir.
he asked EmpireSeth Rogen, who regularly works in biased work as a producer on The Boys or Pam & Tommy, explained that the series is “Incredibly shocking”. So much so that one scene in particular was the subject of an Amazon special:
“There’s a particular scene that was filmed specifically for Amazon’s PR people. You should get used to it now. You’re probably going to be talking about it a lot.”
Even the actors used to this provocative and subversive tone were shocked. This is the case with Kristen Wiig, who was brought in by Seth Rogen to learn a few lines. “I think we all got desensitized because he was just told to do a scene and he was like, ‘Oh my God, this is crazy!’The actor revealed.
It’s no surprise when you know that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are already engaged “Twice the calamus and three times the edible sex” When the series project was announced in 2022.
The Sausage Party: Foodtopia series is expected in 2024 on Prime Video.
