News on Prime Video: Hakim Cemil thinks he’s Thomas Pesquet in the summer’s most enjoyable comedy!

What is it about?

Ali, a thirty-year-old from the suburbs, still lives with her mother and her 8-year-old daughter. Lazy, without any special ambitions, earns a living as a fast food delivery boy through small jobs. After giving birth, she accidentally ends up in space on the ISS station. The conquest of space is about to write a surprising and unprecedented chapter in its history…

The feel-good summer comedy is on Prime Video

Who hasn’t dreamed of going into space? Flying in weightlessness? And all this without even being an astronaut and training for months? This is La Tête dans les étoiles, the starting pitch of the French comedy that Prime Video offers its subscribers on July 6.

In terms of casting, the platform has bet on actors popular among the French: comedian Hakim Jamil (who has already collaborated with them on Miskina and Celebrity Hunted), Alice Pol, François-Xavier Demaison, Nawell Madani or Olivia Côte answer for themselves.

Emmanuel Gilbert, to whom we owe Les dents, pee et au lit, delivers a perfectly formatted and no-fuss film for summer, with a likable protagonist, a theme that appeals to children as much as adults and a classic but effective moral. .

It will be necessary to wait for the second half of the feature film to discover the scenes in space: Jamil’s character has fun with the decor, spins and walks weightlessly on the moon. He must learn, in spite of himself, how to maintain the spaceship. And as much as can be said, when you’re claustrophobic and asthmatic, it’s no cakewalk.

La Tête dans les étoiles is a far cry from the explosive Medellin style of Prime Video’s recent blue-white-and-red production. But it will bring the whole family together for a fun moment.
