A building collapsed this morning of Friday 7, in the Janga district, in Paulista, in Greater Recife (PE).
Firefighters said they were called around 6:35 am to a collapse on Rua Dr. Luiz Inácio de Andrade Lima. Eight vehicles were sent to the scene and the incident is ongoing.
Firefighters are looking for “multiple victims”. The exact number of people under the rubble has not been released.
The collapse comes after a night of heavy rain in the region.
