On Monday, July 10, everything starts here…
Eliot and Hortense’s friendship was broken
Without hearing from Hortense since Friday, Eliot’s morale is low. If Greg is convinced that Hortense will remain limited in her decision, Jasmine thinks on the contrary that it is enough to give her a little time to come down. Anyway, Elliott really hopes to reconcile with her.
Hortense, on the other hand, continues to organize the wedding as if nothing had happened. However, Mehdi suggests postponing the date, suspecting that he was acting out of his fiancee’s pride. Hortense admits that she is offended by Eliot’s decision to annul their double marriage, but then claims that everything is already ready for her to celebrate the same day. Mehdi still reminds him that they no longer have a menu, no brigade, and no reserved room.
In the cafeteria, Hortense starts to get frustrated when she realizes that all the rooms in the region are already full. Devi then suggests her to celebrate the wedding in the salt marsh room. Hortense is delighted with the idea.
Meanwhile, Greg and Eliot warn Benoit about the annulment of the double marriage. The latter sympathizes, and then mentions that they will have to find new decorations for the room. When alone with Elliott, Greg makes suggestions. But Elliot doesn’t really have the heart to organize a wedding, knowing he won’t be celebrating it with his best friend. Greg offers to cancel their party and settle for a city wedding with their best man. But Elliot really wants to party with all the guests as planned.
In the afternoon, Greg gathers his team in the atelier to make the cake. At the same time, Mehdi arrives, hoping to find a way with Greg to settle things between Hortense and Elliot. But Greg still criticizes Hortense’s behavior.
Annoyed, Mehdi announces that they will keep the date and restore their own ideas – in this case, the show. By the way, Mehdi is poaching Jude from the Gregg Brigade. Faced with this duel between Greg and Mehdi, Lionel is angry and criticizes their attitude. But nothing helps. Greg sticks to his guns and asks Lionel and Jasmine for a new dessert proposal for his wedding menu. Meanwhile, Mehdi recruits Axel to his team, although the latter feels uncomfortable with Jasmine.
Later, Elliot suggests that Jasmine and Lionel make a macaroon pyramid of all colors for dessert. He receives a message from a photographer who has come to a photo shoot that Elliott and Hortense have planned to do together. Elliot forgot to cancel. Jasmine suggests that she go find a photographer to come and take a picture of them making the macaroon pyramid.
So Elliot goes to the park to find the photographer. But he realizes the latter is in the middle of a conversation with Hortense, who is trying to hire him for her own wedding. Elliot takes the young woman aside to find out what’s going on. Hortense believes that she was the first to find the photographer and therefore has priority in hiring him. Eliot calls him selfish. Hurt, Hortense announces that their friendship is over…
Antoine is looking for a profession
Antoine hosts Enzo to make it easier for him to enter the institute in a wheelchair. The latter notices how the deputy director of the institute works from breakfast. Suleiman confides in her that he’s gone a thousand miles an hour since breaking up with Rose. At the same time, Antoine offers his son to go and work with him in the vegetable garden.
Later, Antoine finally decides to start the main project he dreamed of: to create a statistical file on the careers of all former students of the institute. With Letizia in charge, Antoine finds himself helpless and immediately looks for a new profession.
He stops by the cafeteria to ask Ethan and Solal about their menu design. After noticing that some of the double A orders will not be used in the end, Antoine suggests that the students restock this stock for their menus. Deaf to Ethan and Solal’s explanation, Antoine thinks about the new organization of the cafeteria and asks the two boys to come up with a new menu for the next day.
At the commissary, Ethan complains about Miriel’s behavior, which upsets the entire consistency of the cafeteria. Solal protects the deputy director because she knows about his personal problems. But for Ethan, that’s not the reason. Teissier, who overheard snippets of their conversation, tries to find out more. Ethan claims that Miriel is making them pay to break up with Rose.
Dual alignment is dangerous
In the kitchen, Theo and Anais evaluate the day’s menu together before serving it. If a young woman is very stressed, her boyfriend, on the contrary, is very confident. Given their chemistry as a duo, Theo is confident that they will do well as a team to co-lead Double A.
As their crew arrives, Theo and Anais give directions and recommendations for dishes. Vicki takes the opportunity to ask who she should contact if there is a problem in the room. Theo replies that he can talk to him or Anais because they’re on the same wavelength. However, when Tom questions the cooking of the meat, Theo and Anais disagree. And finally, Theo stands up to the young chef.
At full service, Theo realizes that Anais suggested Tom substitute cilantro in the dish without consulting him first. However, Anais’ choice displeases Theo. Tensions arise in the couple, but it is too late for changes. Vicki sends the plate to the dining room as the customer is waiting for her.
After work, Theo and Anais appreciate the co-management of their brigade. Vic highlights the lack of fluidity. Tom thinks they did well. Anais admits they can improve.
Once the brigade leaves, Theo apologizes to Anais for her behavior, especially since all her ideas were good. A little upset, Anais realizes that their relationship lacked fluidity. That’s why Theo advises them to think along the way so they can be consistent in their choices when they’re in a hurry.
