Deadpool 3: Spot Ryan Reynolds in Suit in First Photos!

The first photos of Ryan Reynolds in costume for Deadpool 3 are here, marking the actor’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ryan Reynolds Indeed joins the MCU with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and several characters from the previous two Deadpool films – such as Dopinder, Vanessa, Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead – who will also return for the third installment. The Mirror (via DicussingFilm and Screenrant ) has shared the first teaser footage, in which we can see Wade Wilson’s interpreter in a revamped costume.

As you can see, the costume is very similar to the two previous films produced by Fox. However, there are some minor differences, such as a new black part under his neck and less suspenders than the original suit. That said, these are very minor changes, and the character finally brings his signature look to the MCU.

Why doesn’t the suit really change?

As Screenrant points out, there’s a reason why Deadpool will enter the MCU in an outfit similar to his Fox version — while MCU heroes usually have different outfits in each of them. A few heroes like Captain America and Spider-Man didn’t get their most iconic costumes, the heroes had to “earn” their costumes from the comics during their time in the MCU. This trend has now spread to Marvel series on Disney+, where characters (new and old) get their exact comic book looks at the end of the season.

But Deadpool is already wearing his most famous costume. For this reason, its design should not be changed Deadpool 3. The character is also not known for many variations of his superhero outfit as others do in the comics. However, this does not exclude certain changes in the future…

Deadpool 3 will hit our screens on May 1, 2024. In the meantime, the first two episodes can be seen on Disney+.
